Slime Rancher 2 takes everything that made the first game so memorable and expands on it. The visuals are absolutely gorgeous, the world feels more alive, and the cozy, peaceful atmosphere is still very much intact.
I played it solo, just like the first one. It's the kind of game that's perfect for unwinding and getting lost in your own little world of exploration and creativity.
The fun comes from the freedom to explore, collect slimes, and build at your own pace. It brings new challenges and systems, but in a way that still feels familiar to fans of the original.
Even though it's still in early access, Slime Rancher 2 already offers an impressive and polished experience. It deserves a spot in the GOG store so players can enjoy it DRM-free and support its development while preserving it in their libraries—just like the first game.
